Hampshire Hotel

Built in 1920 as a venue for the local construction workers to relax after a day’s work building the RPA Hospital and the local stone mason’s workshop, the Hammy quickly became part of the local heritage. In 1929 when a fire threaten to engulf the surrounding neighborhood residents, workers and passerby’s grabbed buckets and hoses and defended their drinking hole which has stood proudly to this day with the originally laid bricks and sand stone.

Within the Hampshire itself there are plenty of different areas to relax with friends and colleagues, from the Front Sports bar with 16 tap beers and big screens showing all the live sport action to the large rear beer garden with its 4 by 4 meter big screen and built in BBQ area perfect for functions or afternoon catch ups. The Hampshire Bistro open all day everyday serves up fantastic pub meals with old school prices.

The Hampshire Hotel is the perfect place to relax with friends or for functions from 20 to 200 people.
